SB: What is your favorite song?

AM: UM LOVE RAIDER BY DE-WAYNE????

SB: Have you heard any of these tracks before?

AM: Just breaking news by flowerovlove.

SB: If you were writing a period piece and could ONLY pick which decade to set it in based on the music of the time to score it, what decade would you pick?

AM: You love these impossible questions… Right now, I’d say 80’s? So many fun, reactive things going on in that decade. Big sounds. And right now creatively, I’m feeling like a big sound. Being one, making one, figuring out how one exists.

ANNE MARIE TO STEPHEN:

AM: What is your favorite song?

SB: Man I was gonna say Crumbs, because when they bring in the subtle horns at the chorus then it jumped up the leaderboard and then the sax solo at the end almost had me, but thennnnnn I hit Tropical Illusion and just take my money now. Was I just transported to a 70s fantasy cruise? It’s nice here.

AM: Have you heard any of these tracks before?

SB: Nope, nada one.

AM: What was the last new instrument you learned about and, I’m curious, how? (Assuming the internet but you never know!)

SB: Surprisingly it was the Theremin and it didn’t come from the internet but good old fashioned human conversation. One of my former clients was in a band and an absolute musical aficionado. He was telling me about it and I had to look it up.
